Who we are

How did Colne Valley Dogs come to be?

From working with the powerful Belgium Malinois to exploring the valley with our very own Spaniels, Ben has a vast experience with a variety of dogs. It's because of his own dogs Max and Bobbie that Colne Valley Dogs was founded. Ben wanted to be able to give them a better lifestyle as walking and exploring with them is what he loves the most. After realising that this passion for dogs could shared - Colne Valley Dogs was born.

We have three main aims in mind:

Promote good canine health and wellbeing, promote positive canine socialisation and training and an investment in a positive owner/canine relationship.

What makes you different from others?

Besides the usual qualifications and checks we actively seek to work with your dogs using reward based methods to build a relationship with them. We are aware that it is not a one piece fits all solution when working with dogs and we have a variety of games and techniques to help your dog feel like they have a second pack!

It's important your dog feels comfortable with us and gets the attention they deserve, therefore a maximum of 4 dogs will only ever be on our pack walks.

In addition we can also provide owners with end of walk reports and assist if you need it tips on how to promote good health and wellbeing.

We have a lot of plans for the future; so please join us and see how we can make a difference to your furry friends lifestyle today.
